How to choose the best education consultancy in Dhaka
There is no single best education consultancy for every student. The best one for you is honest about fees, realistic about your chances and open about every step. Use this checklist to compare any consultancy in Dhaka, including ours, before you pay or sign anything.

What a good education consultancy does
- Explains fees in writing before you pay. You know what is a service charge and what is a university, embassy or test fee.
- Never promises a visa, an offer or a scholarship. Those decisions belong to universities and governments.
- Starts with your profile. Your results, English score, budget and goals shape the advice, not the consultancy's own targets.
- Shows you official requirements. For every course you should see the university's own page for entry rules, fees and intakes.
- Lets you choose. You can compare several universities and countries, and you are not pushed to one option.
- Keeps you in the loop. You know when each application is submitted and what each response says.
- Uses only genuine documents. Every document you submit is real and correct.
- Has a real office and real people. You can visit, call and ask for the name of your counsellor.
- Gives written terms. Refund and cancellation rules are clear before you start.
- Sends migration questions to licensed professionals. See the note below.
Red flags to walk away from
- A guarantee of a visa, a scholarship or "100% success"
- Pressure to pay quickly, or a discount that ends today
- Advice to edit, borrow or inflate a document, such as a bank statement
- No written agreement, or a refusal to explain which fees go to others
- Cash payments without a receipt
- Discouraging you from contacting the university yourself
- An office or phone number you cannot verify
- One university or country recommended to every student
False or misleading documents can lead to a visa refusal and can affect later applications. Protect yourself first.
Ten questions to ask before you sign
- What exactly is your service charge, and what does it cover?
- Which payments go to the university, the embassy or the test centre, and will I get receipts?
- What happens to my money if the university or the embassy says no?
- Can you show me the university's official page for each requirement?
- Why this country and this course for my profile, and what are the alternatives?
- Who will be my counsellor, and how do I reach that person?
- How will I be told when my application is submitted and when a response arrives?
- Which documents do I need, and how are they checked?
- Do I keep my own login for every application account?
- Who handles migration or immigration advice, and are they licensed?
Licensed advice on migration and immigration
Study advice and migration advice are different. In Australia, immigration assistance must come from a registered migration agent (MARA). In Canada, immigration advice must come from a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer. Ask for the registration number and check it on the official register. IGC explains study pathways as general information and refers migration and permanent residence applications to a licensed professional.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best education consultancy in Dhaka?
There is no single best one for everyone. The right consultancy for you explains fees in writing, does not promise results, shows official requirements and gives you honest advice about your chances.
Should I pay a consultancy before my offer arrives?
Ask what the payment covers and when it is due, and get the terms in writing. Never pay for a guarantee. Fees that belong to universities, embassies or test centres should go to them and come with receipts.
Is it safe to use a consultancy at all?
Many students apply successfully on their own, and many get useful help. A good consultancy adds value through honest shortlisting, careful documents and clear guidance. Use the checklist on this page to decide.
How can I check a migration agent or immigration consultant?
Ask for the registration number. Australian migration agents are listed on the MARA register, and Canadian immigration consultants are listed with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Lawyers can be checked with their law society.
Does IGC promise visas?
No. We prepare your file carefully and honestly, but visas are decided by governments.
